- Identify a business for the former Ice Port land which will benefit the business and residential communities;
- Work with The Chamber of Commerce to increase visibility within the community;
- Work with The Chamber of Commerce to cultivate potential business relationships;
- Work with the Cudahy Police and Fire Departments to return to the staffing levels of the year 2000;
- Hold city employees and elected officials accountable for what they are hired to do;
- Ensure all property owners, landlords of rental properties, as well as, homeowners, are accountable for the maintenance and exterior appearance of their property;
- Generate community spirit and Instill Cudahy Pride.
Qualifications
- I possess the ability to collaborate with other agencies to increase services, while not exceeding the budget due to my experience as a volunteer in the non profit sector;
- I have developed and implemented budgets in both the non profit and corporate sectors and adapted to economic change;
- I have experience as a field operations manager in the transportation industry. As a result, I have helped companies identify and solve operational issues;
- I am comfortable communicating with both blue collar and whit
e collar workers; - I have experience working with the Cudahy school administration. I maintain a good working relationship with the Cudahy School District and would encourage collaboration of services in an effort to keep taxes downs.
Achievements
- Approached the Cudahy St Francis Little Baseball Association (CSFLBA) to assist in establishing a Challenger Baseball division for children with special needs and currently continue to support and coach the Division;
- Coach girls softball and boys baseball teams in the CSFLBA;
- Past Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin Board President, Board Treasurer, Board Member and Annual Golf Committee Chair;
- Current Member of the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities;
